New memorials, inscriptions and restoration
Whether you are commissioning a memorial for the first time or looking after one that has been in the family for decades, the work is carried out in our own workshop in Ferndale.
Additional Inscriptions
Adding a name to an existing memorial, either on site or back at the workshop. We prepare the paperwork and match the existing lettering and layout.
Renovation & Re-gilding
Cleaning, re-fixing and re-gilding older memorials so the lettering reads clearly again. Weathered gold leaf and paint are brought back to how they were.
Resurfacing & Slab Polishing

Every memorial needs approval from the council or churchyard before it can be installed. We handle that paperwork and keep you updated at each stage.

Excellent
I needed my dad’s name added to my mum’s grave and had originally asked a larger local company to do this. However, they were hopeless and after months hadn’t even done the paperwork. FR Terrazzo were recommended and they were perfect; prompt, responsive, did precisely what they said they would do at exactly the time they said they would. Dealt with everything without me needing to do a thing! Provided computer generated images of the completed headstone so we could get it just right and sent me a photo of it in position. Excellent work
Matthew was so approachable he advised us regarding the font, the lay out and was very helpful throughout the whole process. He re-gilded my father’s inscription and added my mother’s inscription, he secured the base for the headstone and supplied a new flower pot for the base. We are so pleased with the stone and the finished product. A very helpful and calm experience at the workshop made a very emotional decision so much easier thanks to Matthew
